Walker Woman Charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder

On July 7, 2012, Sonya Foret (7/7/1958) of 31590 Courtney Circle in Walker was charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.

Livingston Parish Deputies were called to a local Emergency Room after an adult male was admitted with a gunshot wound. Kenneth Clark was being treated for a flesh wound to his right side.

Foret and Clark recently split after a 10-year relationship. Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Deputies learned that on July 7, 2012 Clark returned to the Walker residence to collect some of his belongings. That’s when Foret grabbed a 32-caliber handgun and fired at Clark.

Foret is in the Livingston Parish Detention Center. Her bond is set at $75,000.
